ANRI SALA: TITLE SUSPENDED

The publication ‘Title Suspended’ appears on the occasion of the presentations by Anri Sala in the cabinet for contemporary art in Bremerhaven and in the MMK Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt am Main. As a mixture of artist book and documentation, it provides the context for Anri Sala’s latest work, which is the first “sculptural” work by the internationally acclaimed artist. Starting from Michelangelo’s well-known depiction of ‘Creation of Adam by God the Father’, she shows the extremely poetic construction and destruction of a moment or an image.
